Donegal County Council has won the Council of the Year award at the Local Authority Members Association awards.
The council collected the award for its flagship ‘Road Safety Road Show’.
12,000 students have already seen the hard hitting show over the last four years.
At the event people directly affected by road tragedies tell their stories to second level students – who will soon be beginning their own driving careers.
