35 new retails to be created by Happy Days in Donegal

35 new retail jobs are on the cards for Donegal this year as a Letterkenny based discount retailer announces plans to expand into other areas of the county.
Happy Days already operate two stores, and want to increase that to eight, with a projected workforce of over 50 by the end of the year.
The company is currently seeking retail outlets throughout the county, and is seeking business owners who want to leave their own business or who have a premises to rent.
Happy Days opened its first store in Ballyraine, Letterkenny last year, and now employs 16 people there and in Glenties.
Now, as part of an ambitious expansion, the company is seeking more premises in Donegal, with plans to open six further stores this year, including a new shop on Letterkenny’s Main Street.
The company is inviting existing or former retailers or property owners to get in contact from any area of the county with details of empty premises which might be suitable for them.
Happy Days sell discounted branded products and encourage people to ‘shop with them first’.  Happy Days maintain their entrance to the Donegal retail market will ensure that even more money is kept in the local economy.
Meanwhile, the opening of the Main Street outlet is seen as a vote of confidence for the area which has seen a number of high profile businesses close over the past 24 months.
The company has also indicated it would also consider taking over a petrol station offering discounted fuel.
