There have been heated exchanges at the County Council’s monthly meeting today over funding for Donegal’s ferries.
There was an allocation for ferries contained within the council’s budget which was agreed last month.
However, there is a dispute as to how much of the money is for ferry services in the Inishowen or Letterkenny electoral areas – Barry Whyte has more details from Lifford:
