Eamon O’Cuiv resigns as Deputy leader of Fianna Fail

Eamon O’Cuiv has resigned as Deputy Leader of Fianna Fail and as the party’s spokesperson for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.
Míchael Martin says that Deputy O’Cuiv’s refusal to support the Parliamentary Party’s position on the Fiscal Compact meant that it was no longer feasible for him to occupy these roles.
Deputy O’Cuiv says he will attend the Fianna Fail Ard Fheis.
