Over 350 people turned out in Brinaleck last night for a meeting of the “Can’t Pay Won’t Pay” campaign, addressed by local priest Fr Brian O’Fearraigh.
The priest’s decision to publicly back the campaign and address the meeting was the focus of a major discussion on Highland Radio’s Shaun Doherty Show yesterday morning.
Meeting organiser Michael Mac Giolla Easbuig says it’s obvious the debate swelled the numbers at the meeting, and it was clear where the loyalties of the attendees lay in the discussion between the priest and Labour Senator Jimmy Harte…….
