Derry City 1 v 0 Bohemians
Derry City started life in the League of Ireland Premier Division under Declan Devine with victory over Bohemians at the Brandywell Stadium on Friday. Bohs were down to ten men before the break when Adam Martin was sent-off for a two-footed lunge on Stephen McLaughlin. The challenge didn’t effect McLaughlin as he scored 4 minutes into the second half with a backpost header from a Simon Madden’s cross.
Derry Manager Declan Devine was happy to get of to a winning start.
