Emigration blamed for fall in Donegal live register figures

The Mayor of Buncrana says the primary reason for a significant fall in numbers signing on in Inishowen is emigration.
There was a drop of 7% in the numbers on the live register on the peninsula. Most other offices recorded a drop – in Killybegs the number of the live register dropped by 14%
Independent Mayor of Buncrana, Nicolas Crossan says most of that can be attributed to young people leaving the country looking for jobs:
