WW2 device made safe on Benone Beach

Part of Benone Beach in County Derry was evacuated and sealed off for a time following the discovery of a device yesterday afternoon.
It’s understood the device dated back to World War 2.
Army explosives experts were called to the scene, and a controlled explosion was carried out to make the device safe.
