Hundreds of parents, teachers and community groups have turned out for a protest in Donegal this afternoon – in opposition to cutbacks to education.
The demonstration is underway in the Market Square in Letterkenny.
The rally is being addressed by a number of speakers including President of the Irish National Teachers Organisation, the Reverend John Deane and Fr John Joe Duffy of Arranmore Island.
Just before addressing the crowds, INTO President Noreen Flynn tols Highland Radio News that she believes these rallies can make a difference….
