Thousands turn out for protest against RAAD in Derry

Up to 1000 people attended a rally calling for vigilante group Republican Action Against Drugs (RAAD) to disband in the Guildhall Square over the weekend.
The public protest was organised by the ‘RAAD – Not In Our Name’ group and was attended by MLAs and councillors from both Sinn Fein and the SDLP.
Recently, RAAD claimed responsibility for the murder of Waterside man Andy Allen in Buncrana and on Wednesday night they carried out paramilitary style shootings on two young men in the Bogside.
Foyle MLA Martina Anderson attended the rally, and she said there was a lot of anger…….
