Gardai liase with PSNI following discovery of human remains

Gardai are investigating the discovery of human remains near Redcastle.
The badly decomposed remains were discovered by walkers on the shore of Lough Foyle shortly after 4 o’clock last evening
The remains have been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital for examination.
Gardai have contacted the PSNI in relation to the discovery and in an effort to determine the identity of the remains.
