Council and NRA being asked to address Loughanure safety problem

One person has been hospitalized and two others injured in separate incidents while walking along the N56 road in the centre of Loughanure.
Locals say there is a ‘drop’ of several inches on the side of the road near to the Irish college that has caused the accidents over the past number of weeks.
They’ve been in touch with Donegal County Council and traffic cones have been put in place this week as a temporary measure.
Donegal Cllr David Alcorn has inspected the site but says the fact that Donegal County Council  is not responsible for the road limits what they can do……….
