Donegal County Council has released figures which show that its postal bill for last year was in excess of 250 thousand euro.
Of its six offices, most money was spent on stamps at its HQ in Lifford – almost 145 thousand euro.
The bill out of its Letterkenny office was 34 thousand. The least amount of money was spent out of Milford at just seven thousand euro.
The issue is to be discussed at the next meeting of the council’s Value for Money Committee.
