Business and residential customers of Electric Ireland are to see a significant increase in their bills.
The energy firm’s announced a price hike of almost 6% from October 1st for its domestic electricity customers. An incease to comercial customers is expected to follow.
Electric Ireland estimates its electricity price hike will add 1.22 per week to the average residential bill.
