A Fisheries Local Action Group, or FLAG, has been established by BIM to develop a strategy for the development of fishing communities in Donegal.
The Northern regional ‘FLAG’ covers the Donegal coast from Ballyshannon to Muff, and includes representatives from the fisheries, community, county council and tourism sectors.
BIM says the intention is to help communities increase revenue and employment opportunities for their respective areas.
