VEC responds the tragic death of Finn Valley teenager

The VEC has put in place its critical incident team folowing the tragic death of a 4th year student at the Finn Valley College.
Shannon Gallagher was the sister of Erin Gallagher who died in tragic circumstances in October.
The head of the Donegal VEC Sean Purcell said it is an extremely difficult time for all concerned and their thoughts and prayers are with her family, school and community at this sad time
Mr Purcell said the welfare of its students and staff is the primary concern of the Donegal VEC.
He asked that the appropriate agencies are allowed the necessary time and space to support the school from the Press and Media.
Meanwhile an Aunt of Shannon and Erin Gallagher have asked that the family been given some privacy at this time.
