Mark English is looking to build on his personal best after his performance at the Anniversary Games in the Olympic Stadium in London over the weekend.
The Letterkenny runner finished 6th in a quality 800m event hitting the A Standard for the upcoming World Championships in Moscow with a time of 1 min 44.84 seconds.
Ireland Team Manager and Highland’s Athletics Correspondent Patsy Mc Gonagle described it as one of the greatest runs by a Donegal athlete.
