Dunamanagh shopkeeper says he has been forced to close Post Office

donemanaA Dunamanagh shopkeeper has said he closed the local post office as it was no longer paying him to keep it open.
Dunmanagh Post Office on the Berryhill Road closed this week, it’s the second rural Post Office to close in the Strabane District area, Clady Post Office also closed earlier this year.
Dunamanagh shopkeeper Jackie McGarrigle says he had to close the service because Post Office were only paying him £40 a week to keep it open.
Cllr Patsy Kelly has speaking to Mr McGarrigle, he says the Post Office have to come to an agreement with the shopkeeper, because at the minute it isn’t financially viable for him to run the service:
