Bishop Boyce announces a number of positional changes within Raphoe Diocese

bishop boyce The Bishop of Raphoe has announced a number of changes to cleric positions within the Diocese.
Bishop Philip Boyce has announced that Fr Seamus Gallagher, currently Parish Priest for Newtowncunningham and Killea will move to Frosses in Inver.
He will be replaced by Father Ciaran Harkin in Newtowncunningham who is returning from sabbatical.
Newly ordained Father Jonathon Flood will take up the position as Curate in Creeslough.
Farther Shane Gallagher, Curate in Ardaghey is moving to Leitirmacaward and Doochary and will also be the Chaplain to Glenties Comprehensive School.
Farther Joseph Briody, Currate in Creeslough, will join the teaching staff of St john’s Seminary in Boston.
Furthermore, Canon William McMenamin becomes Archdeacon of the Cathedral Chapter while Farther Francis McAteer and Farther James Friel will become Canons of the Cathedral Chapter.
Bishop Boyce says the changes will come into effect from the end of this Month.
