John Dundon begins a life sentence for the murder of Shane Geoghan

John Dundon has been convicted of the murder of 28 year old Limerick man Shane Geoghegan.
The 31 year old of Hyde Road, Limerick has been jailed for life for ordering the killing that led to the Garryowen rugby player being shot 5 times as he walked home in the Clommore Estate on November 9th 2008.
The Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan has welcomed John Dundon’s conviction.
He says it shows the force’s determination to pursue fully, individuals or groups involved in this type of serious crime.
