Deputy McConologue slams Labour Party ‘plans’ to reduce school chaplaincy services

charlie Fianna Fail’s Charlie McConologue has described a proposal by the Labour Party to cut chaplaincy services from VECs and community schools as the latest front in the party’s Culture War.
Fianna Fail’s  Education Spokesperson said it was part on ongoing attempt by the Labour Party to remove all trace of religious faith from public life in Ireland and marks a new low.
Deputy McConologue says the chaplaincy service in these institutions is more about student support than anything else.
He says the plan is ‘typically myopic and mean spirited’:
