Former Bundoran traffic warden accused of harrasing her successor

A former and a current traffic warden in Bundoran have confronted each other in court.
Former Bundoran traffic warden Patricia McCafferty has been accused of harassing her successor Eddie Duffy.
Both appeared in Donegal District Court, where the case was adjourned after Ms McCafferty, representing herself, sought extra documents from the prosecution.
Judge Denis McLaughlin noted the documents she sought were irrelevant to the prosecution of the case. “Maybe you want the government to hold an inquiry”, he added.
He said she had been told at an earlier court that she could have legal aid for a solicitor to guide her.
But Ms McCafferty, of Main Street, Bundoran, said she rejected the legal aid as a protest because she had been turned down for it in a separate civil action.
The judge adjourned the case to Donegal District Court on September 23 when a date will be fixed for a full hearing.
Ms McCafferty, who was employed as traffic warden until 2008, is accused of harassing the town’s traffic warden, Eddie Duffy between April 17, 2012, and September 16, 2012
