Sinn Féin says the Troika’s mortgage arrears targets are ‘lacking ambition’.
Last night the EU-ECB and IMF said it wants Irish banks to reach agreements with one quarter of borrowers in arrears by the end of March next year.
Some financial experts say that target may be difficult to reach for lenders.
But Sinn Féin Finance Spokesperson Pearse Doherty says it doesn’t go far enough – and the Troika is underestimating the scale of the mortgage crisis….
