A new European Direct Information Centre has been opened at the library in Gweedore, providing full information services in the Irish language for the whole county.
A centre has operated at the Central Library in Letterkenny since 2005, and when the county library service was awarded the contract for the service again last year, the new contract included a satellite centre to provide services to Gaeltacht areas.
