PSNI in Strabane warn of dangers of legal highs

legalhighsParents in Strabane are being warned of the dangers of legal highs.
Police in the town say they have been contacted by a number of parents who discovered ‘legal highs’ in the possession of their teenage children.
Legal highs are substances that mimic the effects of controlled drugs such as cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis.
They come in the form of powders, pills and herbal materials and look similar to the controlled drugs that they mimic.
Strabane PSNI Chief Inspector, Andy Lemon is warning parents in the town of the dangers:
