County Board says it was Jim McGuinness’s decision to make changes to his management team

JIMIt has emerged that Jim McGuinness took the decision to remove Rory Gallagher and Maxi Curran from his management team.
In a statement the Donegal County Board said it was informed of Jim McGuinness’s decision on Tuesday morning to ‘make changes to his management and support team’.
Francie Friel, who was involved in the backroom team, will also not feature next season.
Rory Gallagher is already being linked with a move to take over the manager’s vacancy with his native Fermanagh.
The news has come as a surprise as speaking to Highland Radio Sport just last Sunday, Donegal Manager Jim McGuinness gave no indication that fans could expect any changes to his backroom team  – he was asked the question by Oisin Kelly:
