A public meeting to be held in Letterkenny to address increase in class sizes

classroomsA public meeting will be held in the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny this coming Monday to address the expected increase of class sizes in the upcoming budget.
The patron bodies and leadership groups involved in Irish primary education have come together to form the National Alliance for Primary Education which will host the meeting.
The Alliance has launched a pre-budget campaign asking Government to make primary education a priority, adding that any cuts to primary education are short-sighted, represent bad value for money.
Sine Friel of the Letterkenny Branch of the Irish National Teachers Organisation says people power could stay off any planned cuts:

The meeting is open to the public and is on Monday at 8pm
