Councillor calls for action on waiting lists at Letterkenny General in wake of flooding

Letterkenny GeneralA Donegal County Cllr has called for waiting lists to be urgently reduced at Letterkenny General Hospital.
Just two weeks before major flooding at the hospital this year, figures released showed that there were 4,000 people waiting for over 1 year for treatment at Letterkenny General.
Cllr Ciaran Brogan, who is a member of the Regional Health forum, says that the flooding at the hospital has increased waiting lists even more.
Cllr Brogan says it’s something needs to be done , and if needs be, people should be sent to other public hospitals:
