Strabane dog warden makes appeal after three-week old puppies abandoned and left to die

puppyStrabane’s dog warden has issued an appeal for information following the death of a pair of three-week-old pups.
An angler discovered the cross terriers in a box on a river bank in Sion Mills, however one of them had already passed away from severe malnutrition.
The second was turned over to the local kennels but died on the way to the Dogs Trust.
Strabane dog warden Mark Hegarty has called on anyone with knowledge of the animals or their origins to get in touch with Strabane District Council.
Founder of the Rainbow Rehoming Centre in Eglington, Helen Davies, said there is no excuse for anyone abandoning puppies like this:
