The Northern Secretary says she refused a cross border judicial inquiry into the Omagh Bombing because it wouldn’t provide the families with new information.
Teresa Villiers is in Dublin today to meet with the Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore at Iveagh House this afternoon.
She says she looked very carefully at holding a new public inquiry into the Omagh Bombing and spoke to the families of those killed and the survivors.
Ms Villiers says she didn’t think a cross border judicial inquiry would bring any new information into the open………..
