Hegarty says clearout likely at Derry

In the Airtricity League Premier Division last night Derry City dropped to 5th in the table having fallen to their 11 league defeat of the campaign.
Derry’s poor form continued as Declan Devine’s side lost 3 nil to Dundalk and afterwards assistant Manager Paul Hegarty admitted that a clearout at the Brandywell was likely at the end of the season.
He said there would probably be lots of changes in personal including the management team.
With Shamrock Rovers beating Bray Wanderers, the Hoops have now moved ahead of the Candystrips on goal difference.
Derry do have a game in hand this Friday against Shelbourne, and if they are to finish in a Europa League Qualifying place they will have to take back that 4th spot.
