The European Parliament is calling for a ban on Menthol cigarettes and other fruit-flavoured tobacco products.
However they’re proposing that the ban would not come into force for several years.
MEPs yesterday voted on a number of draft laws to make tobacco products less attractive to young people.
The MEPs supported calls for laws to ensure that all tobacco products carry a health warning covering 65% of their packaging surface.
