It’s been claimed that the drug crystal meth is circulating widely in Buncrana.
Local councillor Ciaran Mc Laughlin has contacted local gardai on behalf of a number of parents who have contacted him recently. He says on Sunday evening last, a woman rang him to say her teenage daughter had taken the drug the previous night, and claimed it was rife at the night club she was in.
Cllr Mc Laughlin says she didn’t want to go to the gardai herself, so he promised to contact them on her behalf. He also told the woman she and her daughter should seek medical help and advice.
Cllr Mc Laughlin says he is very concerned at the extent to which this is becoming a major problem………
