Police have been given more time to interview Kieran McLaughlin.
The 58 year old is being questioned in connection with the killing of Barry Mc Crory in Shipquay Street on Thursday last.
He was detained by specialist police officers at around 3 o’clock yesterday morning after a five hour operation which began in Donegal at around 9 o’clock the previous night.
