Daughter makes appeal for her missing Wexford mother

The daughter of missing Co. Wexford woman Stacia Purcell has made an impassioned plea for any knowledge on her whereabouts.
The 66-year-old was last seen on Wednesday night last in the Mountgarrett area of New Ross.
Described as 5-foot-3 in height with grey hair and of slim build. Stacia was wearing a cream raincoat and a hi-vis jacket.
Her daughter Anna told South East Radio that she always stayed on familiar routes while out walking.
“She’d never go near the river, she always had a fear of the river because two of her brothers drowned in the river years ago” she said.
“I thought maybe she was after falling somewhere – maybe fell into a gripe or something, because she was out in the dark”.
“But…if that was the case we would have found her stick or hat or something” she added.
