Donegal Chairman of Labour becomes the latest member to quit the party

PETERCUTLIFFEThe Chairman of the Labour Party in Donegal has confirmed to Highland Radio News that he has quit the party.
Peter Cutliffe told Highland Radio last month that he was considering his position claiming he no longer felt the Labour party represented the people.
He was also upset after it emerged Senator Jimmy Harte’s wife had put herself forward to run for the Labour party in next years local elections.
His departure follows that of former Mayor, Cllr Frank McBrearty early in October.
