A new community alert system is being put in place in a number of town lands across Letterkenny in response to a spate of crime over recent weeks and months.
It follows a well attended meeting earlier this week called by local man Noel Sweeney
The initiative covers town lands stretching from the top of Moorefield to the Gold Course Road.
Mr Sweeney says an update will be given on progress so far at another meeting to be held next Monday night:
