Derry taxi driver attacked on fare run from Donegal to Strabane

taxiAn attack on a Derry taxi driver during a fare run last week has been condemned.
The incident occurred on Monday November 4 but has only come to light.
The taxi driver was physically attacked when taking a fare from a casino in Bridgend, Donegal to Strabane.
When the driver requested the fare, one of the passengers held him by his throat. The two males then made off towards the Lisnafin area on foot.
Strabane District Cllr Patsy Kelly says Derry taxi drivers may stop taking fares to Strabane, if these men dont hand themselves in:
