Donegal Deputy says Fianna Fail leaders comments are a new low

A Donegal North East Deputy has said that Micheal Martin has reached a new low after remarks he made yesterday.
The Fianna Fail leader claimed there were a number of cases of abuse within the Republican movement of Sinn Fein and the IRA, which were covered up.
And Mr Martin compared the Republican movement to the Catholic church in the way cases of abuse were covered up and not reported to the authorities.
Speaking today, Deputy Padraig MacLochlain said the comments belittled the majority of Fianna Fail members, who he said wouldnt get involved in such politics:
