50 foot Christmas tree brought down in Carndonagh in high winds

A 50 foot Christmas tree has been brought down in Carndonagh as a result of the strong winds last night.
The tree, which towers over the roof tops of houses in the town, was brought down by winds around 845am this morning.
It took residents in the town two weeks putting the tree up and decorating it.
Gabriel Duffy from Carndonagh spoke on todays Shaun Doherty Show, he says it’s 28 years since he seen anything like this happen:
