Canavan returns to club management

Former Fermanagh manager Peter Canavan has been named as the new man in charge at the  Cavan Gaels club.
After two years at the helm of the Erne county Canavan stepped down in September but now makes a return to club management having previously been in charge of Errigal Ciaran.
Canavan who will have Ciaran Donnelly as his assistant, had his appointment  ratified by club officials last night.
Cavan Gaels had a disappointing end to their year when they were beaten in the county final by  Ballinagh.
