A Letterkenny Councillor wants Eircom to review how it distributes its phone books.
Councillor Jimmy Kavanagh says that after the latest edition was circulated, many ended up littering estates around the town.
He says books were left at unoccupied and derelict buildings and ended up being kicked around estates.
He wants Eircom to distribute the books via USB stick and those who want a physical copy to have to ask for it:
