New research shows that Donegal is among the worst affected counties by food poverty.
The figures published by Mandate and UNITE reveals that thousands of people say they couldn’t afford a proper meal in the last week.
The trade union’s are seeking immediate aid from government to organisations providing food assistance to help them to cope with the pre-Christmas demand on their services.
