Senator Jimmy Harte critically ill – transferred to Dublin hospital

Highland Radio understands that Donegal Senator Jimmy Harte has been transferred to a Dublin hospital in a critically ill condition.
On November 16th, Senator Harte was found unconscious close to his Dublin apartment in the Newmarket Square area of Dublin 8 with life-threatening head injuries caused by a “tragic fall.”
The father of four underwent emergency surgery at Beaumont Hospital were he remained until he was transferred to Letterkenny General Hospital last week to continue his recovery.
We understand that his condition worsened over the weekend and a decision was taken on Monday to transfer him back to Beaumont hospital where his condition is described as critical.
