The Derry based rail campaign group ‘Into the West’ is accusing Translink of treating the people of the city with contempt by refusing to publish the outcome of a public consultation into a new railway station for the city.
The consultation ended on May 23rd last year, and ‘Into the West’ believe that Translink will have had the figures within a matter of days.
Spokesperson Richard Melaugh believes the view of the public is that returning to the old Waterside Railway Station is the public’s preferred option, but that’s not what NIR wants to do………
