Concern has been expressed that if the authorities do not act to remove a small number of families accused of anti-social behaviour in the Glencar Park/ Meadowbank areas of Letterkenny, then the wider community may take matters into their own hands.
There have been a number of house break-ins and a serious assault in the area in recent weeks with Cllr Tom Crossan laying the blame with a small number of families resident in the area.
It is not clear if the families in question rent private or council owned property.
Councillor Crossan wants the council to see what it can do to have the families removed:
