A Castlefin Councillor says the community has been shocked to learn of the major seizure of cannabis in the area.
€400,000 worth of cannabis was last night seized as part of an intelligence led operation involving the Garda National Drug Unit, Customs Revenue Enforcement Officers, and the Divisional Drug Unit Donegal.
A man in his early 30’s has been arrested and is currently detained at Letterkenny Garda Station.
Local Councillor has praised authorities for the seizure which he says took everyone in the area by surprise in Castlefin:
