Over 12% of Donegal’s commercial premises are vacant

There was an increase last year in the number of vacant commercial premises in Donegal.
Figures from the GeoDirectory show that in the last quarter or 2013, 13.1% of commercial premises in the county were empty – that’s an increase of half a percent on the previous quarter.
Over the year, 1,218 of the 9,297 commercial addresses recorded in Donegal in 2013 were vacant.
The average commercial vacancy rate in Donegal throughout last year is just above the national average.
