English named on Irish team for world indoors

mark englishAthletics Ireland has named a 5-strong squad for next week’s World Indoor Championships in Poland.
Letterkenny AC and UCD student Mark English is named to run the 800 metres.
The Irish indoor record holder who was forced to withdraw from the nationals recently due to an infection has recovered to run in the March 7th to 9th event.
800 metre runners Ciara Everard, and Rose-Anne Galliganare are also  included alongside Claire Tarplee in the women’s 15-hundred and David McCarthy, who will compete in both the 15-hundred and the 3-thousand metres.
