The Wild Atlantic Way is being officially launched by the Minister of State for Tourism in Dublin today.
It’s the first ever long-distance touring route here, showcasing the Atlantic coastline. Stretching for 2,500 kilometres from Donegal to Cork, it’s intended to link destinations and attractions along the route.
400,000 euro has already been spent on signage in Donegal.
The head of the programme Fiona Monaghan says this initiative offers significant opportunities to tourism providers across the west coast………..
